The Australian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka David Holly called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday.

එල්ටිටිඊ ත්‍රස්ත සංවිධානය අපරාධ සංවිධානයක් නොවන බවට ස්විට්සර්ලන්ත ෆෙඩරල් අධිකරණය තීන්දු කර තිබෙනවා. ඒ අනුව එරට නීතිපති කාර්යාලය විසින් චෝදනා ගොනු කර තිබුණු පුද්ගලයින් 12 දෙනෙක් අද (03) දිනයේදී නිදොස් කොට නිදහස් කර ඇති බවයි එරට මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කර සිටියේ.

A President’s Media communique said that Pakistan’s Foreign Minister extended warm greetings to President Rajapaksa on his and his government’s behalf. Qureshi expressed Pakistan’s keen interest in further strengthening bilateral relations with Sri Lanka especially in the areas of economic development, trade, security cooperation and regional cooperation, the communique said.

Pakistani Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who arrived in Sri Lanka for an official visit yesterday, is scheduled to meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and Foreign Affairs Minister Dinesh Gunawardena today.
