Since 2015 no funds have been released from the National Child Development Fund established to assist children who are victimised, it is reported.
The sole aim in establishing the Child Development Fund was to assist children financially, assist them in their education and aesthetics activities if their parents or guardians have been lost in a war or any natural disaster.
It is reported that at the end of 2017, there was Rs. 5.6 million in the child development fund.
