On February 4, Ms. Akiko Ikuina, Parliamentary Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya at Temple Trees. The meeting reinforced the longstanding diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Japan, reaffirming Japan’s continued commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s development and prosperity.
All together with the Chinese New Year festival, the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism jointly organized a celebration to mark the occasion in Colombo.
