Sri Lanka Audit officers are continuing their strike for the second day today making several demands including salary anomalies.
This trade union action has been launched by the Sri Lanka State Audit Service, trade union action launched by the Sri Lanka State Audit Service from yesterday afternoon.
Secretary of the Sri Lanka State Audit Service, H. M. K. Herath said that members of their trade union are now on work stoppage.
Necessary action is being taken to resolve the issued faced by the employees, following discussions with the Presidential Secretary a senior official said.
He added that the trade unions engaging in the strike have also been informed of this ongoing discussion.
