The first Sri Lankan to have contracted the coronavirus has been reported from Italy, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Italy said.
The Embassy said the victim was identified as a 46- year old female from Brescia.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Relations revealed that the woman has been admitted to a hospital in Brescia.
It added that the Sri Lankan woman was in a stable condition. (Colombo Gazette)
