Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Kingsley Ranawaka says that the SLTB has incurred a loss of Rs.10 million a day due to ticket fraud.
As a result, a task force was formed a few days ago to inspect CTB buses randomly, the Chairman said.
There are 107 SLTB depots in the country and it has been reported that the bus conductors of each depot have been involved in different kinds of ticket fraud.
