The Sri Jayawardenapura University has decided to import a machine which could detect the Coronavirus from Singapore at a cost of around Rs. 82 million.
It is reported that the Treasury had agreed to grant the funds for the import of this high tech machine.
This machine is scheduled to be brought to the island by air within the next four days.
Currently, this machine is being used for dengue research at the Sri Jayawardenapura University, it is reported.
