A group has started stealing Facebook pages targeting the upcoming presidential election.
They are stealing Facebook pages by sending a message with a link.
The message which has a Sinhala meaning is sent in English letters (Singlish).
The message says that some of reader's personal photos have been uploaded which could be harmful for their dignity and those should be removed from Facebook.
Along with the message a link is available to view the photos and as the recipient of the message clicks on the link and follow the instructions given the Facebook account of the recipient is stolen.
