A girl among the group of Sri Lankans repatriated from UK yesterday (04) has been admitted to the Negombo hospital after showing symptoms of Covid-19.

Quarantined at hotelsSriLankan Airlines charter flight UL504 with 208 Sri Lankan students stranded in London landed in BIA at 3.30 am yesterday (04).
However, reports say that it was around 10.00am when they were directed to quarantine centres.
Those who assented to personally foot quarantine costs were directed to luxury hotels functioning as premium quarantine centres. They will be charged Rs. 7,500 per day.
Accordingly, the repatriated students have been directed to Jetwing Blue in Negombo, Club Hotel Dolphin in Waikkal, Citrus hotel in Waskaduwa and the Ayagama Technical college to be quarantined.
