Social distancing and other guidelines issued to prevent the spread of the coronavirus will continue well into next year.
Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that social distancing, hand wash and other steps cannot be limited to just 2-6 months.
He said that failure to continue with social distancing and other measures will only result in a risk of the coronavirus spreading once again.
Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that several guidelines have been issued on how the public must behave in society.
He said that the guidelines will soon be made law and public awareness campaigns will also begin. (Colombo Gazette)
