The Attorney General’s (AG) Department is to file a case against Minister Ravi Karunanayake for providing false information to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry which was investigating the Central Bank treasury bond scam.
The Attorney General’s Department informed the Colombo Magistrate’s Court that statements will be recorded from Minister Karunanayake and his daughter in due course.
The case was postponed to July 29.
