A delegation from the World Bank visited Matugama Katugahahena Hospital on Thursday to review the primary healthcare project jointly initiated by the World Bank and the Health Ministry in 2019
Project Director and former Health Services Director General Dr. Jayasundara Bandara, Project Consultant Dr. Deepika Atigala and Senior Country Officer Sybille Crystal were present.
They inspected Katugahahena Rural Hospital, which was adjudged the best rural hospital in the Western Province last year.
