Another batch of 1,147,770 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to be used as third dose for Covid suppression process in the country, was flown in by Emirates Airways.
The consignment weighed 4,485 kg and was packed in 137 cartons.
The vaccine was originally flown via Amsterdam, the Netherlands to Doha, Qatar and from there to the Katunayake Airport around 12.29 am. (Daily Mirror)
