President Maithripala Sirisena flew to Beijing this morning to attend an international conference titled Dialogue of Asian Civilizations to be held on 15 May.
According to Chinese media, the conference is themed “exchanges and mutual learning among Asian civilizations and a community with a shared future.”
Unconfirmed reports indicate Sirisena is scheduled to meet President of China Xi Jinping tomorrow.
