Another batch leaves Air Force quarantine center

A group of 203 Sri Lankans who were placed at the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) quarantine center in Mullaitivu left for home today.

All passengers arriving from overseas are being sent to quarantine centres due to the COVID- 19 outbreak in Sri Lanka.

The SLAF said the individuals, who had arrived from overseas, were placed at the quarantine center in Mullaitivu on 23 March.

They are being sent home after completing their 14- day quarantine period, the Air Force said.

It added that all 203 persons have been requested to remain in self- isolation for the next two weeks. (Colombo Gazette)
