The validity period of visas issued to foreign nationals in Sri Lanka has been extended.
A number of foreign nationals are stranded in Sri Lanka due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the country.
The Department of Immigration and Emigration said that the visas of foreigners in Sri Lanka will be extended till 12 May 2020.
It added that visas falling under all categories are entitled to the extension. (Colombo Gazette)
