The government has decided to further expand “Enterprise Sri Lanka” loan schemes.
The cabinet approval has already been granted to implement the suggestions on this regard.
Under the Enterprise Sri Lanka loan scheme small and medium scale entrepreneurs, youth, female entrepreneurs, self employed individuals, graduates and migrant workers are allowed to obtain concessionary loans.
The opportunities to obtain loans have been implemented under 17 loan schemes.
The government has already provided Rs. 81 billion worth loans and they are looking forward to expand the loan scheme further.
