The body of a man was found with gunshot wounds near the Independence Square in Colombo this morning, the police said.
Police also found a 9MM pistol near the body.
The victim, 63-year old was identified as a resident of Rajagiriya
The Cinnamon Gardens Police are conducting further investigations into incident.
