The group of Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) members who were arrested yesterday (09) for holding a protest demonstration in front of the US embassy in Colpetty have been released on bail.
The Fort Magistrate Court had ordered to release the group later in the evening.
Chief secretary of the FSP - Kumar Gunaratnam as well as the party Propaganda Secretary - Duminda Nagamuwa were among the arrested individuals.
The FSP had organized the protest against the killing of American National George Floyd.
