The Senior Officials Committee Meeting of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) which is a multinational forum for enhancing cooperation towards promoting peace, security and stability in Asia took place virtually on 19 April 2023.
Acting Secretary/Foreign Affairs Yasoja Gunasekera led the Sri Lanka delegation. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Tumysh. CICA is the largest regional intergovernmental forum in Asia.
